ABOUT LABRADORITE
Labradorite is found across the globe from USA to Finland, Mexico to Australia and Russia to Madagascar. It was named after Paul Island in Labradore, Canada, where it was first formerly identified in the 1770s. However, the Native Americans and Eskimo Inuits collected, crushed and used Labradorite stones well before this. Eskimo Inuit Legend believed that the Northern Lights were captured inside these beautiful, flashy stones, until a brave warrior released most of them, the rest remain in these unique crystal formations. The Welsh Goddess of the moon and stars, Arianrhod is the Goddess most associated with this magical stone.
